So… what is this?

Savannah doesn’t have a dedicated stand-up comedy club. So for one weekend — Friday, April 17th and Saturday, April 18th — we’re building one.

Cobblestone Comedy is transforming The Stables into a fully functioning pop-up comedy club. Stage, lights, headliners, the whole thing.

We’re bringing in some of the strongest comedians from Savannah and across the Southeast and turning an art gallery into an intimate comedy room for four shows across two nights.

And because comedy without drinks is just a meeting, we partnered with Joe & Vera’s to handle cocktails all weekend.

ABOUT THE VENUE

The Stables is a creative compound in West Savannah with studio spaces for artists, photographers, musicians — all that good stuff.

It also happens to have a dope event space inside. That’s where we’re building the comedy club for the weekend.

And don’t worry, there’s plenty of parking.

Who’s Performing

  • Khaled Elchoufi performing at Laughing Skull lounge

    Khaled Elchoufi

    Augusta, Georgia native Khaled Elchoufi brings a unique perspective shaped by his Syrian upbringing in the South. Since starting comedy in Atlanta in 2016, he’s become a local favorite, opening for Clayton English, Rachel Feinstein, and Johnny Pemberton. A weekend regular at Laughing Skull Lounge, he also co-hosts the podcast Spicy No Spicy.

  • Marcus Crespo doing stand-up

    Marcus Crespo

    Marcus Crespo is a silly, quirky, lovable yet intense stand-up comedian who has performed in just about every type of venue across the country. He has appeared on segments for USA Network and The Travel Channel, and has worked with comedians including Theo Von, Kyle Kinane, Nate Bargatze, and Howie Mandel. He co-hosts the podcast Foolosophy and was voted Jacksonville’s “Sexiest Man” (2024) by Folio Weekly readers.

    Makenzie Manent

    Greenville native Makenzie Manent, winner of Greenville’s Most Hilarious (2024), performs across the East Coast and has opened for comics including April Macie, Therapy Gecko, and Rocky Dale Davis.

    Derick Marchel

    Atlanta-based comedian Derick Marchel is a regular at the Laughing Skull Lounge and has performed at festivals including the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and Red Clay Comedy Festival. He’s worked with nationally touring comedians including Dave Chappelle, Hannibal Buress, and Akaash Singh.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. So if the show’s at 8:30, doors open at 8:00. Come early, grab a drink, hang out a bit. Shows will start promptly around showtime.

  • We’re at The Stables — just a short drive west of downtown at 7 Rathborne Dr, Savannah, GA 31415.

  • Yep. Plenty of it — you can park right out front at The Stables.

  • About 75–90 minutes.

  • General admission. Seats are first come, first served, so come early if you want to sit up front — or not.

  • Nope — and you won’t need to. Joe & Vera’s will be on-site with a full bar and craft cocktails all night.

  • 18+ recommended. There will be adult language.
